Core Services

HTML/CSS
This is the basis of all websites, and they are the basic languages that webpages are built using, we build our sites to the latest standards and ensure where possible that the sites pass w3c validation (where the organisation that controls HTML & CSS checks your code is as up to standard).

PHP
This is a dynamic language, that allows you to create pages ‘on the fly’, so you can show different content to different users or use it to add ‘content Management’ to a site.

CMS’s/Bespoke Systems
Content Management Systems allow the owner of a website to control the content of a site themselves using a secure login. This is expremely useful as it keeps control of the website within the company and makes the updating process cheaper and quicker than if the work had to be done by a design company.

SEO – Search Engine Optimisation
Why is SEO important? It is a must that after you’ve spent so much time, effort and money on developing and publishing your web site, you have to promote it to the rest of the world. Search Engine Optimisation is one step in the marketing of your site to do this. Unlike some other Search Engine Optimisation services we are keen to acknowledge this is only part of the solution to ensuring you have targeted visitors to your site. It has to be part of the marketing strategy.

Hosting/Technical experience
We provide a full range of hosting and domain name services, at competitive prices, and are a reseller for one of the UK’s biggest hosting companies. We also have wide experience in purchasing and setting up dedicated servers for our clients.

Specialist Services

Although we offer a full web design service (managing domain names, hosting, site design and build) our specialism is in building internal sites for larger companies. They tend to have a very focussed purpose, and are used either to gather information from across the organisation or as a marketing tool to encourage a change in working practises. As these sites are all password protected, and the data within them is sensitive, we are not able to show you these sites directly, but below is a series of descriptions of them for you;

Internal Sales Drive
These sites reward all branch staff members for finding and sharing new business opportunities with other branches in the group. They tend to focus on making the process fun, with features such as photo galleries of the antics the staff get up to during the promotions. Branches are all set targets and there are monthly cash prizes for the winning branch. One version of this system has run across the UK & Ireland for 4 years and yielded £10 million in additional revenue for the group each year.

Meeting Planners
Initially designed for a hotel chain, this system is used to collect information from all of the participating hotels on their Conference and Meetings departments, this information is then analysed and used to allow the sales department to find suitable hotels for conference bookers. We’ve been running the system for the initial client for four years updating it annually for their hotels in Europe, the Middle East & Africa.

Corporate Marketing Calendars
Used to communicate the marketing plans of head office to the local offices within each country, designed to ensure that their is no unnecessary crossover, conflict or unneccesary spending between the marketing being driven from Head office and the marketing being driven from the country office. The system is used globally, but managed centrally.

Internal Surveys
Our Internal Survey sites allow head office to quickly and efficiently gather crucial facts and figures from branches around the world. The site admin functionality include the ability to closely track the progress of a particular branch in completing the survey as well as tools which you to see response levels to the survey company wide. Detailed search functionality means head office can quickly generate a list of branches which match certain criteria. On-going support is available throughout the survey for both head office and branches to ensure that a helping hand is always there when it’s needed. After the survey we supply the raw data in the suitable format for head office to analyse.

External Promotion Sites
We have built a number of free prize draw sites, which allow users with scratchcards to check if they have won a prize and site visitors are prompted to opt in to receive information, giving us a very useful database for our clients, whilst also encouraging visitors to be become repeat customers through the use of special 3 for 2 codes as common prizes. Typically they will receive 40,000 entries over a 2 – 3 month period. At the end of the promotion we produce a detailed report as well as seperate spreadsheets for each of the ‘opt-ins’ run through the promo.

Although building consumer facing promotion sites and internal tools for larger companies is our specialism, our range of skills are equally at home building sites for Small and Medium businesses.
